The film THE FLAME OF A CANDLE, directed by André Gil Mata, had its world premiere at FIDMarseille, in France on June 28th, in the CINÉ+ competition. The film is a co-production between Rua Escura and the French production company so-cle, with distribution handled by ED Distribution.
In July, the film will be shown at the La Rochelle Cinéma Festival (Fema) in the Ici et Ailleurs selection, also in France. The screening will be attended by director André Gil Mata and editor Claire Atherton, with a conversation moderated by Nicolas Thévenin.
